This Privacy Policy is issued by the Individual Developer of Snaptap Translate ("we", "us", or "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy.

Core Privacy Promise: As an individual developer, I do not have servers to store your private data. The screen content captured via MediaProjection API is processed in real-time for translation only. We do not record, save, or upload your screenshots to any private server.

1. Information Collection

We collect minimal data via third-party SDKs to provide and improve our services:

Account Info: We use Google Login (Firebase Auth). We collect your Name, Email, and User ID solely for authentication and account management.
Voice Data: Our App collects voice recordings only when you use the Speech-to-Text feature. This data is processed in real-time for transcription and is not stored or recorded on our servers.
Subscription & Payments: We process subscriptions through Google Play Billing. We retain necessary transaction records to provide and verify your membership services. We do not store your credit card info.
Identifiers: Google Advertising ID (GAID) used by AdMob for ad delivery and frequency capping.
Analytics: Anonymous technical data (device model, crash logs) provided by Firebase to fix bugs.

Screen Capture: Mandatory for the "Translate" function. Data is volatile and deleted immediately after text recognition.
Microphone: Used only for the Speech-to-Text feature with user consent.
Network: To communicate with translation engines, billing services, and ad providers.

4. Account Deletion

Data Deletion Request: Users can request the deletion of their account and associated data (such as Email and User ID provided via Google Login) by sending an email to dawsonchow063@gmail.com. We will process your request and delete the data from our Firebase systems within 30 days.

5. Children's Privacy

This App does not address anyone under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children.
